Main Objectives
This porject aims to automate highly complex and manual labour-intense tasks in four pilot cases from glass fibre production, additive manufacturing of medical implants, deburring or large metal machine parts and maintaining a digital inventory of metal goods to make manufacturing more flexible, more sustainable and more human-centric
Generic Techologies
Digital twins and virtualised production for process understanding and optimisation
Advanced sensing, actuation and cyber-physical systems capable of operating in the harsh environment
Lifelong and self-explainable machine learning (ML) for self-adaptive analytics and decision-making
Collaborative robotics smart actuation and safe human-machine-robot interaction
Human Machine Interface (HMI) to integrate human factors for easy adoption and integration
Final Exptected Outcome
The project seeks to develop a toolbox in which the solutions developed by COGNIMAN can be adapted to use in other manufacturing settings
Keywords
Collaborative robotics, Human-centric, Smart manufacturing
