Education and Competence Development for
Process Optimisation

The objective of this area is to strengthen competence in the process industry through education and training with a strong focus on process optimisation. This includes topics such as digitalisation, automation, sensor technology, machine learning, and the use of digital platforms for improved operations and decision-making.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with University of South-Eastern Norway, University of Agder, and other R&D partners to establish and deliver relevant courses, combining academic knowledge with industrial experience.

Through already established courses and ongoing development of new offerings, this area provides practical and up-to-date competence tailored to industry needs. Together with our partners, we continuously refine and expand the course portfolio to support innovation, process improvement, and effective use of digital technologies.
