About the Event
Despite its significant potential, many digitalization initiatives do not achieve their intended outcomes. This may result from barriers that impede development, hinder adoption, or limit practical impact. In this context, barriers refer to unintended organisational and technological factors that hinder the effective adoption and use of AI systems, both in general industrial environments and in safety-critical domains where assurance, trust, and risk management are essential.
Work Package 2 Barriers is pleased to invite you to a seminar focused on barriers to AI-based decision-making in industry. This seminar will introduce the objectives and planned activities for this work package. The seminar is split into two parts. First, we will give an introduction to clarify what AI-related barriers mean and outline the key activities planned in WP2. In the second part, we would like to invite the participants to provide input on how we should work with these activities, identify relevant use cases, and synergies with other work packages to ensure strong alignment and collaboration across the aiD project.
