Building on the SAFECI project and with a focus on electrical conditions, the new project SAPPHIRE brings together NORCE and the Norwegian ferroalloys industry to develop model-based estimates of charge resistivity, grounded in experimental data. A key objective is to establish predictive capabilities that can inform future charge-mix decisions - whether based on fossil carbon or biocarbon.
The modeling workflow developed in the SAFECI project was presented at an earlier DigiPro breakfast webinar.
Presented by Vetle Kjær Risinggård, Senior Researcher, NORCE.
