Advanced Data Analytics and AI

The overall objective of this area is to automatize the operational processes and reduce (or even remove) manual operations and humans in the processing loop. By establishing process-specific online analytics concepts and methods, we aim to develop real-time holistic knowledge and overview about the operational processes, for automated monitoring, control and maintenance planning. The research topics include cognition, visual perception, machine learning and virtualization (digital twins), etc.. that are designed and demonstrated for diverse use cases
